Oct 2, 2024

Decatur, Alabama – The Alabama Bass Trail (ABT) Tournament Series proudly announces the renewal of its partnership with Phoenix Bass Boats as the title sponsor of the tournament series. Phoenix Bass Boats first joined the ABT on October 2, 2013, and this year marks an impressive eleven years of collaboration. Over the years, the ABT has seen tremendous growth and consistently sells out within minutes on registration opening day.

This announcement includes an extension of the sponsorship for an additional five years, allowing Phoenix Bass Boats to continue its role as the title sponsor of the ABT. They will maintain a strong presence across all ABT media platforms, including www.alabamabasstrail.org and ABT’s social media channels, while receiving prominent exposure at all ABT Tournament Series events and network broadcasts.

Phoenix Boats Pay Day –
Phoenix Boats will sponsor a $2,500 cash bonus called the Phoenix Boats Pay Day through the Alabama Bass Trail to the highest finishing angler in each tournament of the ABT Tournament Series and ABT 100 Series who fishes out of their original-owner Phoenix Boat.

Kay Donaldson, Director of the Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series, expressed gratitude, stating, “The Alabama Bass Trail team is truly humbled by the support we have received from the great people at Phoenix Boats over the past eleven years. Their commitment to extending our partnership for another five years validates our efforts at the Alabama Bass Trail and demonstrates their dedication to our anglers.”

The Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series is recognized as the largest team trail tournament fishing organization outside of Texas. ABT hosts tournaments on premier lakes across North and South Alabama, culminating in a no-entry-fee championship later this month where anglers will compete for over $100,000 in prizes, including a $50,000 first-place reward and top bragging rights for the year. Each regular-season tournament offers a $15,000 first-place prize, contributing to an overall prize pool exceeding $750,000 for the season, set to kick off in February 2025 as a sold-out series. The Alabama Bass Trail 100 Series begins in January, featuring over $300,000 in total prizes across its three-tournament series.
